Much dialogue is ongoing in the current boardrooms of high-level executives according to Jeff Immelt. I had the pleasure of an informative business presentation hosted earlier today by the Chamber of Commerce. As an Ambassador I was privileged to listen to the Chairman & CEO, The General Electric Company (GE), Jeff Immelt speak. He was recently appointed as Chairman to the US Council on Jobs and addressed the need for leadership and job creation with more than 500 in attendance.

Workplace Training

Jeff Immelt recognizes the importance for leaders to be trained because of the need for high-level business skills in the increasing technological workplace. Organizational development skills are necessary. He supports the high-level manager to be local and execute with ambiguity. The skill based entrepreneur must be system thinkers. Read more…
